See what I mean about this new favorite outfit thing? Maybe I just need to go back to simple outfits that I feel comfortable and confident in. Such as this one.. that I have to try not to wear every day.
Are there any pieces or outfit combinations that you just feel the most confident in?

Very classic and preppy! I am realizing that I am at my most confident in a suit or a dress (with sleeves) if I have to look really professional. On a day to day basis, I feel the most like "me" in a pencil skirt and fun top though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeannie! I love pencil skirts too but I get cold sometimes... black tights are always a default for me.
DeleteLove the gingham peeking out - so cute!

DeleteOh my goodness ... I wore pretty much the same shirt today! The weather was overcast here too and a gingham button down with a crewneck sweater is my go to outfit for this type of weather. It is polished and put together, yet super comfy. I love your loafers too, very cute!
ReplyDeleteTWINS! I'm convinced if we ever met in RL we'd show up wearing the same thing.
DeleteIs that a J.Crew hen iPhone cover? I never realized they made those, it's so cute!
ReplyDeletehaha good eye - yes it is! :)
DeleteDang! I've been looking for a black crewneck like that but sadly, J. Crew Factory is sold out in my size! I love wearing sweaters over patterned shirts with a fun necklace. It definitely is a go-to outfit for me, too!

DeleteI really like that shirt. I passed up on a similar gingham shirt on J.Crew in November and I regret it like every other week. I'm also looking for a black v-neck sweater! so many things....
ReplyDeleteI passed on the j crew version too.. and then a week later i found this one. and it didn't hurt my wallet as badly!
